Employee Spotlight - Aggie Pennington

Aggie is one of our longest standing employees, and has been customer-facing in one form or another for all 45+ years. She started in Customer Centricity, moving to Sales Analyst then Marketing Communications Manager. After that she was Dental Equipment Senior Product Manager and most recently, Strategic Account Management Rep.

Aggie works directly with the Dealer Special Market’s Sales teams in the DSO space, and develops relationships with the large and elite DSO Accounts. She works closely with her accounts to provide solutions: the best products to meet their specific needs and increase efficiencies. She also manages the DSO accounts and supports their day-to-day needs.

This all comes naturally to her, as she places great value on the relationships she’s developed with the people she works with. We asked her to tell us more about what she loves about her job...

What do you like about working in the dental industry?

The people are the best part of working in the dental business. In this business, you develop long term relationships with your team, the dealer team, and the DSO’s.
I also love the variety of products we have to offer! That means I get to help the DSO build the office of their dreams. It’s a great feeling when you work with them on a vision and it becomes a reality!

What's your favorite aspect of your job?

Building relationships and providing our customers with the knowledge and support they need to realize their vision.

What's your favorite DENTALEZ product and why?

I have always loved Dental Operatory Equipment because of the choices in color, material, options. I love hearing what each practice needs, and knowing just how to provide a chair with the right benefits for their dental team. Of our chairs, I really love the NuSimplicity Chair for exactly these reasons; it offers flexibility and positioning, plus it’s ergonomic in design.

But I have to say that the new Aeras Compressor and Vacuum System is my top innovative product. I love the fact that it can be a basic system, or, it can be a continuous high-tech monitoring system for all of your Aeras Utility products, with the ability to alert you to any issues or maintenance needed. Aeras also lets you choose to set a start time, stop time and other choices that can minimize downtime. I see all of these as enhancements for my customers.
