Hope Jidemna joined DENTALEZ in 2018, after starting her marketing career in the fashion and retail industry. Previously she worked with independent designers in Philadelphia and New York to market their private labels and increase brand visibility and sales by producing fashion photoshoots, annual fashion shows, and content for their website, social media and email marketing.

Hope brought her passion for great design and her skills as a marketer to this role, where she is a marketing coordinator. We had a chance to ask Hope for some insight into how her work with DENTALEZ is similar yet different from the exciting world of fashion.

How do your previous experiences in what seems to be a very different field inform the work you do for us at DENTALEZ?

Marketing is the same across many different industries, making it a highly transferable skill. I enjoy applying all of my previous experience designing websites and landing pages, managing social media and email marketing campaigns, and producing events to this role, as well.

What do you like about working in the dental industry?

Working in the dental industry has given me a different perspective regarding the way I look or think about healthcare, in general, and particularly, dentists and hygienists. I now have a better appreciation for the work they do, and better understanding of how important dental hygiene is to overall health. And I get to impress the staff when I visit the dentist, by being able to name the different equipment in their operatory, and recommend DENTALEZ when I recognize equipment from our competitors!

What's your favorite aspect of your job?

Designing the HUB and managing Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns to execute digital marketing strategies, building awareness, and lead generation with target audiences and industry professionals.

What's your favorite DENTALEZ product and why?

Well this won’t be a surprise, considering my background in fashion and design. I really like the line of Forest chairs. And I like our selection of dental equipment packages; there’s something satisfying to me aesthetically and functionally, with how seamlessly and cleverly these product collections complement each other and enhance the staff and patient experience.
