Corian Fabricator
Carlos has been with DENTALEZ for over ten years, having come to us with great experience already in manufacturing. Since then, he’s worn several hats and now is part of our fabrication team. He’s known for his Team Leadership; he assists in training new hires, he pitches in across other departments when needed, and he will always speak up in favor of what he believes, even when that’s not easy.
We asked Carlos to share his answers to our favorite questions:
What roles had you previously held (whether at DENTALEZ or another company) that either made it possible for you to enter your desired field or helped you learn specific things for your position today?
Before starting at DENTALEZ, I had a variety of jobs that gave me pretty well-rounded experience in different types of skills in manufacturing - I’ve been a machine shop operator, I’ve worked in shipping and receiving, and I spent time as a lead material handler.
What do you like about working in the dental industry?
The coolest thing to me is going to a dentist office for my own dental care and seeing some of our products being used in the practice!
What's your favorite aspect of your job?
Along those same lines, I like seeing our products in use. And we keep evolving our products so I like knowing that we will have a role in the future of the dental industry.
What's your favorite DENTALEZ product and why?
Of course it's the NevinLabs workstations. They’re just so customizable. I really like the fact that we can accommodate any size facility and custom build exactly whatever the customer wants. It’s like solving a puzzle successfully every time. I still love learning more about all DENTALEZ products but Nevin is my favorite.
