Flowcheck
The best way to evaluate dental vacuum system performance is to measure airflow at the high volume evacuator (HVE). With a RAMVAC’s patent pending Flowcheck in your hand, you have a quick and easy to use precision instrument to measure HVE flow rates. A Flowcheck makes diagnose problems a snap. Use the Flowcheck to measure the “flow ability” of your system and acceptance test new equipment to make sure you get what you pay for.
US Patent #6925886
Easy To Use
- Fits any ½" HVE valve
- Digital readout gage
Evaluates Open Suction
- Use in flowing HVE valve
- Flow tests vacuum station
- Detects clogged vacuum lines
Accurate
- Responds to small changes in flow or vacuum strength
- High repeatability
Construction

Performance check - Old equipment
- Digital gage with ±0.25% full-scale accuracy
- Precision machined, anodized aluminum
FLOWCHECK® Uses
Check Treatment Room for minimal useful vacuum performance
- Ensure vacuum system can support safe, efficient operation of high volume evacuators and nitrous oxide scavengers.
- The FLOWCHECK provides a quantitative evaluation of performance by measuring flow in SCFM at an open high volume evacuator
Specify size for proposed systems
- Acceptable performance is indicated by a minimum flow at each open HVE of x SCFM as measured by a RAMVAC FLOWCHECK
- Sample Specification: The vacuum must provide acceptable performance for x HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent to 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in simultaneous and continuous operation.
Acceptance check - New equipment
- Acceptable performance is indicated by a minimum flow at each open HVE of x SCFM as measured by a RAMVAC FLOWCHECK
- Sample Specification: Before acceptance, the vacuum must provide acceptable performance for x HVE equivalents (1 HVE equivalent to 5 saliva ejectors or 5 small surgical aspirators or 4 nitrous oxide scavengers) in simultaneous and continuous operation.
Performance check - Old equipment
- Repeated testing can identify clogged lines and poorly cleaned solids separators and vacuum hoses.
